Fast Eddie Fernandes Cryotherapy Winter Garden

Callaway Kings of Distance’s, “Fast” Eddie Fernandes, at Reunion Golf Club

Last week, we had the honor of having Callaway Kings of Distance’s, “Fast” Eddie Fernandes walk into our facility in search of Whole Body Cryotherapy in Winter Garden. If you’re not familiar with Eddies track record – he is a 3-time World Long Drive Open Finalist and 2015 U.S. Open Senior Long Drive Champion, recently inducted into the Southington High School Sports Hall of Fame and the Central Connecticut State University Athletic Hall of Fame, and is also a respected member of the the Callaway Kings of Distance Long Drive Team and is one of the best Long Drivers in the world.

After chatting with Eddie about what he’s looking for, we knew Frozen In Time CryoSpa was going to be an exceptional resource for recovery from his intensive training. If you take a look at the Callaway Kings website, you’ll notice that Eddie is 25 years the elder to his youngest teammate, and 8 years to his oldest teammate – yet Eddie is STILL hitting harder, faster, and driving longer than competitors half his age. The golf veteran has never had an injury, pulled muscle, chronic illness, and continues to get stronger, faster, and perform better each year – how?

Eddie attributes his health & wellness and ability to out-perform his peers to his practices of eating REAL, organic foods, training up to 5 days a week, and finding the most effective methods of recovering from his training. Like most health conscious athlete’s, Eddie works hard to avoid methods of recovery that could also harm other aspects of his health. This is where Whole Body Cryotherapy comes into play.

Constant swinging, calisthenics, sprints, and agility work puts a lot of (necessary) stress on Eddie’s body, so finding a method to decrease inflammation and increase blood circulation to the joints and muscles is a key component to recovering faster, avoiding injury, and performing optimally.

Tomorrow, February 17th, Eddie will be showcasing his talents during a Callaway Demo day at Reunion Golf Club from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Frozen In Time CryoSpa will join him, talking about the benefits of Whole Body Cryotherapy and Compression Boots Therapy that Eddie has decided to incorporate in his routine.
